Greetings.
This may be the beginning of an interesting journey for me. Or it may be just a lark. I'm not sure yet. Right now, I'm here for one simple reason: somewhere to go to get the frustrations of the day out of my system. Simple.
I have no real reason to think anyone will want to read what I have to say. I'm just like a ton of other people, I have opinions on most things, with lots of things that are driving me crazy. And all of that energy needs to go somewhere. Nothing special.
So, what's on my mind? Mostly, right now, I am just anti-Barack. That means that if you have bought into the myth of Saint Barack, this will not be the blog to read. I have nothing nice to say about him.
I really believe that Obama is the most dangerous phenomenon of my adult life (45+ years). He is a demagogue and his supports remind me of the Khmer Rouge. I really think his winning the election could lead to our own version of the Cultural Revolution. I know I sort of mixed the analogies there, but you get the idea...
Honestly, he scares me, plain and simple! I am just terrified of what he might do to this nation. And that fear leads me to the bewilderment that people seem to be buying into his nonsense. I just don't get it.
And all of that confusion leads to frustration. What are people thinking????
Mind you, I don't think he is the Anti-Christ (like some folks) but he definitely seems like a fellow traveler. And he obviously has no respect for those who don't share his views. I really think he wants everyone to believe the same as he does; either by force of argument or just by force.
Scary!
Anyway, I will likely drop thoughts, opinions, and musings here periodically throughout the season. If anyone reads them, great. I hope they are worth your time. And if not, that's okay too. At least I've gotten things out of my system and off my mind.
